A stud of a course

Very impressed with the course condition and layout. Tight fairways and tough rough. Good course Marshall. Enjoyable round.

Glen Dornoch looks the same since we first played it many years ago. I doubt I’ll come back to it again since it trails so many other courses in the area. Bag drop area was confusing with many golfers standing around waiting to be called by limited staff on hand to load onto carts.

It’s gotten pretty tired.

The layout of the golf course is excellent. The greens were in poor shape and the pace of play was terrible. All of the staff was friendly, except for the starter Lew! He was a total jerk. There’s too many golf courses in that area to be treated like he treated my group. We won’t be back.

Layout was fantastic. Staff was amazing.

Due to what seems like an overbooking issue we were late getting out to start and very slow play due to backups far ahead of us. But course and staff were good.

We had a lot of fun on this course.

We all loved the course, but the management of the tee times going off from holes 1 and 10 seemed a bit much for them to handle. They ran out of carts, so we need off 45 minutes after we were supposed to. That also made us have to change our dinner plans, since we didn't get done until 7PM.

Best course in Myrtle beach. Staff is excellent. Course was immaculate for the time of year. Is our favorite place to play by far. $16 replay

Difficult for the average to below average golfers in our group. I would not put it in our rotation in the future. Course was well maintained and staff friendly…just a little punitive for our overall skill level

They couldn’t honor our tee time because of a tournament. Unable to contact anyone for remedy. I’ve been calling 843 492 0448 with no response.

What a beautiful course. Could play this one over and over and still not tire from it. The last three holes come as advertised and require your “A” game. Will definitely play again.

Always love playing Glenn Dornick. Nine and 18 on the waterway are a true beauty.

Glen Dornock is one of my Top 20 courses of the 107 I have played around Myrtle Beach. It is still one of my 4 "best bangs for the cost (others being Dunes Club, Heritage Club, and Arcadian Shores). Good condition. Always fun. PERFECTLY SCENIC on 7 of the 18 holes.

Beautiful course and challenging but they overbooked it. We got yelled at for being early by the guy setting up the carts, there was no cart person out with drink options in 90 degree weather. The guy in the proshop yelled at us for taking too long buying drinks and a sandwich at the turn. We rushed out to the next hole only to find the group that was always in front of us barely off the tee block. All of our previous rounds were around 4 hours, this round took 6 hours. In all my time golfing I've never met a more miserable group of staff.

Course was absolutely in mint shape. fast greens and just an overall great layout. We were the only group on the course due to bad weather and the staff made sure we had a great experience. Can't say enough about the staff and service!

we had an issue with the Marshall telling us to pick up the pace, we were already 25 min ahead of our pace. Very rude!

Same comment as for Shaftesbury Glen. I understand the same people own both courses. Seems like they maintain them the same way as well.

poor customer service. seen the cart girl on the number two hole and did not see her again until 18th. clubhouse did not offer anything for breakfast and a simple lunch option took 25 minutes. course was good

Tee to green great conditions

The bag/cart/ranger guy with the big gray beard was a complete ass. Made our experience way less than it could have been. Threatened to pull us off the course due to pace of play even though we were waiting on every tee for the group ahead of us. We had just finished 17 and he yelled at us to speed up. We went to the 18th tee only to find the group ahead of us were just arriving to their respective balls in the fairway after teeing off. We will never play your course again.

Really a fun course to play but you can see it needs some work on the tee boxes, green surrounds and bunkers. Pace of play was very good and staff was friendly as well.

A tougher course with not much forgiveness if you get outside of the rough. But it wasn’t busy even for a Saturday morning. The waterway holes are gorgeous.

Terrible condition 2 hour front 9 3.5 hour back nine course was backed up by a group called pro shop and they had no one to come speed them up. We were suppose play a second 18 and after the BS we didn’t get to play it RIDICULOUS

You should know better than to send people to that course. It’s a dog track.

Target golf with too many quirky holes. I left a wedge on the course and called the pro shop to send out a ranger at the 5th hole. They never sent the ranger out to check the greens and two groups behind us .

Horrible experience at the drop-off! The two gentlemen were not helpful nor had any sense of urgency with little to no help organizing and loading bags onto carts. The heavy-set man with the grey beard was rude, lazy and had no urgency to get us off on time for our assigned tee. He stood around staring down at a clip board as if he were running a NASA launch schedule - it was obvious he did NOT want to work. In summary - the two men that worked the drop-off starter that day need to be reassigned elsewhere or counseled. The golf course was in decent shape.

The layout is ridiculous, if you are not a single digit hdcp don’t play this course. The pro shop had nothing to sell and the staff seemed like they did not want to work.

course had the best scenery out of the four we played. in decent shape but could use some work around some areas of the greens. more placement golf then the other the other three we played but tee times must be spread out enough that we weren't rushed no knowing where to shoot.

Rain and wind made this a challenging track. Fairways are thin. Made a birdie on the par 3 17th so it made my day.

Grass and greens very nice.

In all fairness weather conditions were not ideal. Rained all night before our round and strong winds throughout the day. Cart path only, made for a long and slow round. Always a favorite destination to play.

Excellent Condition, friendly staff, golf courses has weird and very tough holes for the average player.

Had a 7:16 tee time. They told us that’s not even a time and we’d go at 7:36, behind another group. The tee boxes were very hairy and the greens were super slow, but otherwise, pretty decent.

Beautiful course. The service at the course was jerky. We paid and should get to play. I do not want to be rushed when all I am doing is waiting on the group in front of us. The employee said " Y'all need to hurry up we want to go home." We were far from the last people on the course.

This is a course we looked forward to playing but we’re disappointed with condition. One bag guy trying to handle 50 golfers. Would not play again.

Piece of crap. Poor condition. Bare dirt in many places. Tried to jam too many players on in the morning. Turned into a almost a 6 hour round. Then they acted like it was our fault giving us a hard time about our paid replay. Stupid holes. Sound blow it up. Very rude staff on top of it. Tried to give us rain checks for causing the trouble. Through them away. Even free I wouldn’t play that it ever again.

Condition was good but layout is tough. Last three holes are stupid hard. Also had too many hazards crossing fairways.

Another Great course. Very playable and fun. The atmosphere is awesome and the scenery is great. Really fun. When we come back to MB, this one will be on my list to play again. Only issue was that there was a group of 24 golfers that thought they owned the course. The Staff was reluctant to do anything about it because of their race. They were playing so slow, that our 2nd round took us almost 6 hours.

Goofy holes... 18 is the worst hole on the planet. We call it Glen Doorknob.

great course but ranger was an a hole. He yelled at some of our guys and it was not wise on his part. After he yelled at a 40 year old man, that man told him if he saw him again it would not be good for him. We never saw him again.

Dry nice layout. Course a little ragged in places, but overall a very enjoyable place.

The greens are brand new and they were literally hard as a Rock. To be completely honest it wasn’t even fun to play as the ball wouldn’t hold at all. There weren’t even any ball marks and you couldn’t make one that’s how hard they were. It would have been a fun course if the greens were normal

Nice course unfortunately it was raining when we played so we didn’t do our replay. No food and beverage included but the best breakfast sandwich by far! Super great staff and fast as lightening golf carts!!

Enjoy playing this course. You have to think your way around and be precise with your shots. Some of the force carries are a little long for my dad, but having him move up a tee helps.

Staff nit very accommodating, course in terrible shape, no GPS on carts for a course like that is unbelievable. No idea why you would send people there.

I enjoyed the layout of the course; especially the 9th hole along the boat-active waterway and the shared green with the 18th hole. I was very disappointed that we were only allowed to play 9 holes although we paid to play 18. I understand the sun goes down earlier this time of year but we still had at least an hour of daylight left. It seemed more important to the staff that we get the carts in so they could go home rather than treating their customers with some good old fashioned hospitality in order to bring us back.

Staff was in a hurry to get us out early and did not seem happy we wanted to use our extra play after the original 18.

Nice course. Staff was in a rush from the time we pulled up till the time we left. we finished our first round @ 1:45pm and they wanted our carts back because (not much day light left).I asked about replay they where not aware of replay. They looked up booking and let us go back out till dark. (Staff was not Happy)

Disappointed of condition course was in. Not the same course I remembered 15 years ago.

No cart girl on a Saturday. We tried to grab lunch between rounds but the grill was closed at 230 on a sunny 80 degree Saturday afternoon

Course was in great shape and had some awesome views. Very tricky golf course where club selection and staying in play is most important. Not a "grip it and rip it" course at all. Very slow play-round took 5 1/2 hours. Played on a Saturday.

Very busy day on the course but handled very professionally by staff. Honestly have never seen that many folks at Dornach. The greens were my only complaint. The holes appeared like they were placed days or weeks prior. Some were caving in, creating a bowl like effect Hole 12. I'm curious why holes aren't moved around more often.

Best of the 4. Challenging but beautiful. The starters got us off almost 30 minutes late and seemed to only care about their members/usual golfers. Then laughed saying well we almost got you off on time.

Very tough, but a little more forgiving from senior tees.

This course seems to be getting overgrown. Trees/brush seem to be creeping into cut areas. Woods used to be clear and full of nice pine needles. Now, you can't find the ball if you get off of the fairway and narrow rough. Appears to becoming much less playable than in previous years. They decided to fertilize during our replay round. I have no idea why they didn't have us go off on the nine that was not being fertilized. Golf staff and food service staff were great. I would rank this last in the 6 we played this trip.

Course was fine, somewhat rude staff and driving green closed early afternoon. Crossing this one off my list.

Wonderful views. Challenging golf course

Fun course, great shape, and wonderful staff!

Very nice and hard. Rained all week so played very long and cart path only was not fun.

Nice course. Basic golf courses. They don't really like people playing later rounds. We tried to use our free replay and they pretty much told us to hurry up and get off the course.

Solid course. Greens are a little slow. Nice layout and not to long.

too much protected wetlands.. too many blind shots

Would have given it a better rate but for the greens, which were by far the worse of the five courses I played. Incredibly bumpy. I also could have done without being quite sternly told NOT to drive the cart to the driving range. A bit of explanation would have been helpful.

Loved the course with the exception of the grass on the greens being thin which made the putts very bumpy and jump around. Also played 5 and kept ahead of groups.

Nice course and loved the holes up by the water. Greens were aerated so in bad shape

Although the golf day got rained out for both our morning and afternoon rounds, the pro shop professional gave us rain checks for everyone! You can't beat that kind of customer service. We definitely plan on scheduling this location for our golf trip next year.

Considering the amount of rain course had to deal with it was in good shape and greens rolled true and were very nice. Enjoyed the course.

Always enjoyed this course, even though I didn't play well. The 9 and 18 holes are the best viewing holes on the strand.
