Always a treat to play

Course was great; pace of play was dreadful ... they held some kind of tournament that morning that held up play on each and every hole.

Beautiful course with just the right amount of difficulty for a vacation golf round! Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The course was in good shape and had long holes. I like the length of the.course and the challenge it brought to hit straight shots. The Pro Shop staff was friendly and professional.

We stopped playing it for a few years because it was in horrible shape. It's getting better, but still no the track we're accustomed we've played in the past.

Tidewater is a great course and facility. The staff is friendly, the food is top-notch and the course was in great shape.

Loved the golf course. Views are great. Staff was friendly. Course was in excellent shape even after all the rain they received. This is a definite must play.

This was the best course we played out of the three. GPS was great for not knowing the course. Great clubhouse and staff.

I was concerned that my group would not like this course because it can play difficult. I couldn’t be more wrong. Everyone raved about it and want to go back next year. 8 of us replayed it. The restaurant was great and look forward to coming back.

Probably my favorite MB course. Play it at least every year. AAA leads in great condition.

Course was in Great Shape. But totally dissatisfied with Pace of play it took our group 6 hours to play our Round. They just double Stack players on the Course to get as many players as they can. We won’t come back to Tidewater which is sad because we love the course!!!

Staff was awesome. Course is challenging and has great views. Course condition could be better. The bugs were extremely bad - nothing you can do about it but makes the experience frustrating.

Beautiful course. No indication PRIOR to booking from your website that the greens were aerated/sanded a couple Of days before my round. Greens were not Really puttable. Large holes, sand filled. Basically putted once then picked up. Not good that I was charged full rate with no warning. Disappointing to say the least

Great golf course but they stack tee times too closely and they use front and back tees to start groups. After 6 hours and still not being through, we quit.

Course was nice, but they had the tee times stacked way too close….had to go off the back, waited on every shot. For $200 a round, they need to do better.

Excellent golf course and conditions. Friendliest staff in the area.

Played several times of the years, and it's one of our favorites. The only knock is the military veterans collecting money on the par 3 tee box, which is a little annoying considering how much we already pay for golf.

Very tough course into the wind, maybe shouldn’t be scheduled as #1 out of the gate. We did enjoy it regardless.

This is my favourite course in Myrtle Beach. Nothing beats the views and scenery around this course. Greens are in fantastic shape. The fairways are generally in very good condition - very tight lies. The rough was a bit "thin" and sometimes spotty around the greens which is not ideal. Still loved playing the course.

Little disappointed..greens rock hard..dinner was highlight of the day.

Course was in good shape for winter and would like to play it again in May. There was a tourney going on so they were going to send me off on 10, but the starter was excellent and let me go off with a twosome on 1. Also, they let my wife ride in the cart with me for no charge. Excellent customer service, too!!

great course, but couldn't drive on the fairways due to overseeding that they do every year at that time.

At the time we were there, unfortunately we had to keep carts on paths for the entire course. Long Bay is a great course but, this restriction caused major issues with a lot of golfers and slowed play on the course for hours.

Great course, took 6&1/2 hours plus. Staff was unattractive, never saw a ranger, probably will never play it again. They overbooked and we’re to lazy to manage the play

It was a 5 hour 45 minute round. Brutal. When I went in to express my dissatisfaction. I got the impression they could have care lass. No Marshal on the back nine. Their excuse was they had 240 golfers! I'm glad they made a ton of money but it's wrong to do so at my groups expense. Even though the course and green were great it was not fun and a huge disappointment.

6 hour round and lots of waiting. Staff didn’t seem to care and wanted to know what they were supposed to do about it. Didn’t see a ranger on the course pushing folks along considering they booked 240 golfers! Otherwise a nice course with some great views. We had a follow up with the course, same attitude and basically told us to take it up with golf trek. We won’t be playing here again and the course delays caused half our group to have to quit early so they could travel out of town and not miss flights. There are too many great courses to put up with that.

Course from the clubhouse looked awesome. But unfortunately 1 golfer / and 1 good friend of the balance of seven - missed this last round due to a hospital visit - concluded in him having kidney stone. Might we be able to obtain 2 credits within our package for this venue?

Fantastic course. Everything was a bit soggy and the fairways were a little over grown due to how wet everything was. Staff was very accommodating and a new favorite course layout!

Great course and very well maintained. The price of the 3 courses was a package deal but overheard someone paying at the counter and was surprised how high it was. It is a nice course but I have paid much less at RTJ and other premium courses.

Tidewater is probably our favorite golf course in the Myrtle Beach area; however, the course was over booked and we had a 6+ hour round-totally unacceptable. Also, there was a charity organization on one of the par 3s raising money-totally unacceptable.

I hate to give this rating as this is my favorite golf course at Myrtle Beach but the visit we had was completely mis managed. We teed off an hour late. There were no carts and round took 6+ hours. It really ruined the round I was looking forward to

Course was way overbooked. Our tee time was 1:00... the last group finished at 8. It was a brutal, long round. Just absolutely unacceptable.

Very tough and long course. Course had great potential, but every green has poa annua all over the green. With this being a long course my only constructive criticism is to separate the tee boxes more stable to handicap. We had a healthy mix of handicaps and just about every tee box spacing between white tees and green tees were negligible at best. On the score card there was about a 400 yard difference between the tees, when in reality it was closer to 130-150 yard difference.

Great Course.

Greens were bumpy due to foreign grass growing in them. Played long due to rain day before. Nice views from the course and would like to play it again.

I've played here plenty before, wished I would have known they just punched the fairways / greens. Seemed like they did it a week before we got there and you could tell.

This was an excellent course and the highlight of the week.

This was one of my picks. Starter Marshall was interesting, his moment of glory. We were paired with two others who weren’t really golfers, but enjoyed the round. Beautiful layout, scenery.

Glad we played here after arriving into a monsoon. However, greens were horrible. They had been verti-cut days earlier so very rough. Also, their cutters seemed to have a malfunction or not set properly as the greens had burned out grass every 12” or so.

VERY disappointed with the greens. Said they had Veti-Cut them a few days prior and were in bad shape. Normally always a great place to play.

Cross-cut greens so it wasn't aesthetically pleasing to the eyes , but rolled well. Always a beautiful course.

One of the best in the entire Myrtle Beach area. Staff very accommodating and the course was in good shape and of course the holes along the waterway and marsh are spectacular.

I came on this trip to have fun. This course is very difficult with many small landing areas and blind shots. For those looking for a challenge, it's a great course. But I was looking for an enjoyable and forgiving layout and this wasn't it.
