Challenging course in excellent condition. Friendly staff.

River club was in great shape, and the greens are hard and fast, creating great challenge for the group. It didn't quite live up to the hype of other pawley's island courses though (Caledonia, Heritage).

Great finishing course but no range. Staff here is incredible!

Not courses fault but it was very wet and sloppy due to heavy rains the weekend prior to playing. Greens collars and approaches were very inconsistent

Nice course but got paired with a guy who told me how to play golf the entire round. That does not make for a nice day. Would probably have rated it one grade better otherwise.

Course was OK. Couple of greens had some bare spots.

Course in great shape. Greens fast . Again we were split tees. After inquiring the starter told me since our tee times were after 9:00 they had to split to get all groups through before afternoon tee times. Staff very friendly.

Probably the fastest greens we played on our trip. Great course and difficult due to weather conditions the day we played.

I played here last year and the greens were immaculate. This time they seemed dry and uncared for. Actually they were very distressed. Was very disappointing

The biggest draw back, no driving range, but above a consistent golfing experience,

play was too slow. Had to wait on nearly every tee on the back nine.

Tough but fair

Fun course with water on a lot of the holes. Conditions were very good even after a lot of rain. Staff was helpful and friendly. Clubhouse has an amazing panoramic view.

Not being maintained

Greens are tough here, hard and incredibly sloped. Great finishing hole on 18. Played much longer than the number on the card. Bogey felt like par throughout this course.

Enjoyed playing here. A bit more challenging than their Litchfield course due to a bit more water hazards.

Too much sand on greens

We found the course in very good condition. The staff was great as well

Course was great, a few bare spots as expected for Nov. This Course lends itself to ball control. Tee shot appear much tighter than they really are.

Played River Club after playing Litchfield. I thought River Club was a little nicer. Just my perception. The facility's appearance reminds me of the Pearls. Course was in good shape, no complaints there. Greens ran pretty true, so there's not much more you can ask for. Would I recommend this track, yes.

OK - carts need to have GPS included - many hazards present problem for 1st time visitor.

Lack of range was a set back. Played consistent. Open of tees.

Tees and greens were beat up, beverage cart stopped around 3. Some odd holes.

Giving this one an incomplete. Went out early as a single didn't see another should until I got to the 8th tee. Started to rain on the 9th tee and then the sky opened up. Course was not to reopen until mid afternoon. Too many sand traps . Was my 1st trip to River Club , will go back , but at this point it is a 3.0-35 rating.
