Man O War Golf Club

We were so impressed with this course. The greens were unbelievable. So well maintained and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will be adding this course into our yearly rotation especially since we usually come right after the legends greens have been punched and talked to a maintenance worker on the course who told us that the greens are bent grass and don’t ever get punched but watered instead.

A little rainy, but the course was in such great condition. Plus, we were like the only ones out there so it was incredibly peaceful. Also, everyone was incredibly kind!

Loved this course, I play it every time I go to Myrtle Beach, 5 star !

What an awesome layout. Next time I will bring my swim gear. Loved the course. It was a great challenge.

Thought course was in excellent shape! Greens were very nice rolled well and consistent. Fairways and tees were in very good shape. Enjoyable lay out, the best of the three we played.

Great course bring extra balls lots of water

I like the layout of this course, however, there should be flags to identify water hazards that cross into a fairway.

A group returned to clubhouse claiming a horn was sounded to evacuate course. What they heard was a train whistle because the course does not have an evacuation horn. They returned to course, cut in front of us without pro shop approval/knowledge and then lied about "horn" and pro shop permission.

Course was in fantastic Shape. Staff was great and courteous. Great challenge and would definitely play again

Love that course and will want to play it again next year. The lunch addition is great. Just wish our golf organizer (Tyler) would tell me about these type of promo when booking us the courses. I only found out about it by looking at the courses website. We also got a $10 voucher for the proshop that I did not know about. When organizing a large golf group, any promo I can give our group is great. Staff very friendly and helpful with my group.

i enjoyed the course but disappointed that i left two message for Myrtle beach golf and none of my calls were returned. I ended up booking this on line and just simply called the World Tour for a t Time and they were very easy to work with.

This course was so clean and well trimmed. Maybe the best course I have ever played. This would definitely be on my list for future visits to Myrtle Beach.

Favorite course layout of the 4. Fun course.......wish the womens tees had a little more water to go over, but it was really fun to play, and everyone really nice!

Man o' War was the only course within our package that I had heard of previously. I was disappointed with the course in of itself. Not allowed to take cart to range / putting area.. Not sure the reason on that. No us charger in cart. The clubhouse provided ample help with the weather we encountered and I'm glad I did play it but not the best of the package..

Immaculate course. Fun and challenging and the scenery is stunning.

The only slight problem was that the course aerated the course the day before we played.

Unfortunately the greens had been invaded by a fungus some months before and were very rough. The management tried to make up for it by offering shop discounts and free drinks / food.

Overaall the Course is in very good condition. Very green, lush grass. They have been having some small issues with the greens with some dead spots but nothing that will affect your overall game. Sounds like they are recovering very quickly anyways.

It was a fantastic course with lots of water. It was in great shape. The staff was very good inside and out.

Greens heavily damaged. Loved the layout of this course though. Would play again once the greens have been fully repaired. I would not offer this course to any customers at the current time.

Overall the course was ok, but it’s simply not the same caliber of course as the others. It has the feel of a local public course I could play anywhere back home. The facilities are much older, no quality merchandise caught my eye in the pro shop, you put for range balls, the carts didn’t have a ball/club washing station, the ball washing stations around the course had no water in them, and we saw the beverage cart once our entire round. The greens were in decent shape, but given the chance to play there again I would pass on the opportunity

Pro shop staff member grabbed a logo ball from my friends hand saying it wasn’t supposed to be in the bin it was in. Not at all professional.

The course condition was excellent. We greatly appreciated the overseed. The only critique would be that the hazards need to be marked with flags. Many that come into play are hidden.

Course seemed very wet probably due to over seeding fairways. Layout was awesome!

more water on the fairways then the hazards. again, to be expected with the seeding situation and understandable, but the last round there was not enjoyable. would have liked to had turf mix in the cart, as the divets we took in the saturated fairways were pretty intense.

Nice course score cards were a little confusing since they have the water in black and not blue like the other courses

Great condition and interesting layout. All three locations have poor yardage indicators. I bought a yardage book at each (at $2 a bargain) but it was inconsistent with the tee markers and the stakes were often not accurate if there were any at all.

This course continues to be one of my favorites in the MB area! It was wet due to rain the previous day, but still was in good shape.

This one is my sons favorite. Finished up the week there and ended a great week with a farewell until next year round of beer.
