Very nice course! Staff was professional and very welcoming!

Just over rated. Not the best shape. Service was sub par and borderline rude. Rides the sister course reputation

Ordinary layout, pretty open. Fairways were sparse but it was very dry.

Loved this course, very creative holes that present different challenges. Also can't wait for returning to play the Kings North course, it looked amazing.

Amazing course!

Hard to believe that Southcreek is right beside the West Course. Totally different in style & condition. Really enjoyed playing this course. All of the personnel was pleasant and accommodating.

Always a solid course

Course was struggling with dry weather and cool temps. Fairways were thin, tee boxes were beat up, but greens rolled great.

The course was very good even with the drought condition.

Poorly maintained. Rough and fairway no difference many holes. Seems like all resources went to Kings North. Traps are mostly dirt. You can see the difference on #10 when a kings north hole runs next to. Wouldn’t recommend.

Tee boxes and fairways were sparce to say the least. Greens were fine.

Course was pretty beat up. tee boxes and greens were not acceptable. Probably would not return to this course.

I Very rough shape

MBN always provides a good experience; however, the bag drop/loading clubs/getting started was very chaotic as they seemed understaffed out front.

Nice course although I believe our foursome which included of two women and one 93 year old man who nearly shot his age was unfairly targeted by the ranger. We were not playing slowly. The group behind was the problem but because they were “bros” they got away with it. Sexism put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable day

It was a Saturday and we were put behind 2 men a young girl and a 6 or 7 year old that was playing?? Never seen that before on a Saturday at a 18 hole golf course? Nice course though

Same as South creek. A little confusing how they loaded the golf carts and sent us out but it worked ok.

Course layout was nice. Challenging, but playable. Nice pro shop. Good driving range.

Great course to start on not to hard especially since we all had hangovers from having to much fun at the Bowery the night before. Think we would maybe like to try something different next year to start are week off as we have been to the MBN quite a few times.

Course was in less than desirable shape. Sparse grass on tee boxes and some fairways. No warning of the conditions either. Dropping course for next year.

Was in great shape and a great version of Myrtle Beach golf. Great value.

Too much course maintenance going on during play. They were mowing, running sprinklers and working in fairways during peak week of golf. Constantly had to wait on different maintenance crews who were in no way going to move for golfers...

This course was not in the best condition. Rough's were practically unplayable.

Most of these courses were in rough shape, one really bad - all sand and one was nice - I forget which ?Avocet maybe.

always enjoy this course. it's very fair as most Palmer designed courses , greens were in fine shape. The staff is always accommodating, especially with the number of golfers they put out daily.

Greens were aerated and there was no cart person or water coolers on the course in 90* + heat with high humidity. Clubhouse also closed mid afternoon which was weird…

Poor tees and not well maintained. Makes no sense why the North course was better maintained?

The food service was horrific A real mess with food & garbage everywhere. They were short staffed & had run out of most food items. Terrible!!

This is fine for the second round of the day.

A 'basic' course

West Course was in poor condition. Traps were mostly dirt. West Course was very dry. Staff was friendly.

Greens were covered in debris...when we made the turn there were folks blowing grass off the cart paths but no one blowing debris off greens

Course was in great condition but it was a fairly simple layout and there wasn’t anything fun about the course. This would be a great course if you were a beginner as it is very forgiving

Nice course. Hard to adjust to the distance at sea level. Coming from the north the ball travels further than at sea level.

Great shape but boring layout

Nice course in good shape, not a lot of difficultly, the greens defeated us. Fox squirrels were a bitch, ate thru the wife's golf bag.

MB National West Course is a playable, yet challenging and scenic course

NOt exactly in great shape, greens were thin and did not put all that true.

Like the greens, pretty readable.

It poured all day. Groups finished 5-6 holes before coming in. Fairways and greens under water. Only received a nine hole rain check. Would have been the best course condition wise. Wish we could have played a full 18.
