Azalea Sands

Azalea Sands is an exceptionally well-rounded course sitting right on the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach. It’s been one of the classics since its opening day back in 1972.

Gene Hamm designed the open layout of the course in a way that allows golfers to practice the full range of different shots on smooth rolling greens. Make sure you bring every club; you’ll want to use them on every tee. The course is great for walking and is suitable for all ages and skill levels. It’s remained the only Grand Strand course without adjacent homes built on it to this day. She plays 6902 yards from the tips, 6287 from the whites, 5958 from the Gold, and 5158 yards from the ladies (red trees).

Azalea Sands conveniently carries all the newest golf merchandise right on campus at their golf pro shop, and the staff is both accommodating and friendly. Come meet the team and grab your clubs for a day of golf at this classic Grand Strand course.
