Deserves even higher than a 5. Great layout and always in great condition. Favorite course in Myrtle Beach.

This was the best course we played. The amenities for after play on our last day there were very welcomed!

Club house crew were very patient and accommodating! We have played at Grande Dunes the past 3 years on vacation and every time is better than the last

The rye was killed off and the Bermuda hadn’t grown in yet. I should have gotten a discount for the burnt out and terrible condition of the course. When I pay $175.00 for 18 holes then the course should be in pristine condition. I shouldn’t have to roll my ball in every fairway just to find a patch of grass to hit off of. I was very disappointed and will not be playing there again.

We enjoy this course. It is probably the easiest course we play and always in great condition.

Grand Dunes is a classic MB course that we play every other year. It’s a fun and challenging course to play that’s always in wonderful shape!

Outstanding layout and the pro-shop always treats like a MVP clients. The conditions were very good on course...

This is one of my favorite to have in the rotation, and always comes through. The views, course condition, staff, and location make this one I will always come back to.

Friendly staff, nice course

Great staff, course was in excellent shape, always a 5/5. The worst part is leaving 9 green if you order food. You drive a long way back to clubhouse then make long trip back. Maybe they could have delivery if you order a bit earlier. 10th tee is 50ft from 9th green but if you order food it’s a 500 yard drive to pick it up then 500 yards back. It’s slows things up a bit.

This was a great way to start our trip really convenient location. The golf was really fun. I shot my best round of the year here. What a great memory.

What an experience!! Top notch from start to finish. A very scenic course that was also a fair course. Wide fairways. Keep the ball in play and you can shoot a good round. The greens had been punched and were trying to grow back in, but were still a little bumpy, but that’s part of maintaining a quality course. The staff was excellent. If there were 6 stars, I’d give it.

Grande Dunes is a must play course that is a joy to play from any tee box. I played the green tees and that was plenty long enough for me. That course was in great shape from tee to green. The people there are there are the friendliest that you ever want to meet. From the pro shop, to the bag drop, to the starter, to the cart return area where they gave out cold towels and cleaned my clubs. Wow, how about that!

It was our favorite course we played weaving in and out of million dollar homes and we loved the holes along the water

As always, this is our favorite course. A couple of the greens look a little damaged from the Winter, but I'm sure they will recover well.

The course is great. The reason for 4 stars is the number of foursomes put out for the day. Due to continually adding foursomes in front of our group, not only on the first tee but also in between groups on the 10th tee, Grande Dunes has become just another tee time factory like most courses in Myrtle, taking a quick dollar over giving players a good experience.

Everything was great except turning into the double tee. Back nine was just short of a 3 hour nine. Course conditions were great. Consider a few less tee times.

The Breakfast buffet could be better with fruits included as a selection.

when package golfer want to replay, please charge less . around 3:30 pm they still charge regular twilight price.

The course was just opened and some sand trap work was being done, but the course was in good shape. Would definitely like to play it again. Also, got the deal with lunch and 2 beers...very nice!!!!

Fantastic golf course in great shape other than a few bunkers under renovation. The greens are excellent and quite large. Super layout and some beautiful views! I would highly recommend playing this course!

They sent out 3 foursomes in front of us and our 8:39 start actually started at 0915. No apologies or even a free soda. Just poor management of a great course.

They double booked Then they let the later and larger group who had a later tee time than ours go ahead of us . The starter allowed this without explanation or compensation. Not satisfied with their inaction.

Arrived at course 40 minutes before scheduled tee time with all 6 participants, ready to play. Confirmed tee time with starter and at desk. Group of 12 scheduled behind our time was placed at tee before our group. No adequate explanation given why a group of 12 white players was allowed to tee off before 5 black players and one white player.

They overbooked and they allowed a large group to go ahead of us even though we had an earlier tee time They didn’t apologize and their customer service was horrible

Grand Dunes was the groups favorite course of the weekend. Challenging but forgiving at the same time.

Excellent course, much different than typical MB courses, wide open fairways, less water, less wetlands. Greens were perfect yet challenging.

Nice course that I felt had greens that seemed a little beat up and the fairways could be a little nicer. Greens had a little to much sand.

Greens were in terrible shape, worse than any other greens i've ever played. The course is not as good as it once was. The ladies in the snack shack were great and served cold beer and good food, but the course has fallen down the list of ones i'd like to play.

Overbooked which led to a 3 hour front nine. A 6 hour round is not enjoyable. Several calls to clubhouse did not help. Greens were in poor condition. Will never book again.

Wish I would have known the greens had been aerated. Believe the rates should have been lower because of this.

Excellent, except the pin locations. They’re was a tourney that day and they had the pins in the toughest places possible.

We were out out during a tournament and I’m not sure what was going on with the green but they were night and day from the practice green and everything was tucked in the worst place imaginable. I don’t mind a challenge but this was a little much.

greens were not very good for what is deemed to be an A course....Maybe its the overseeding with Poa do on greens, but they are bumpy soft mess. FW and Tees were great. Layout is fun.

For this early in the season, the course was in GREAT shape.

Phenomenal club and course. Only reason I did not select 5 stars was because of Duane, the starter. He held up our group for over 20 minutes and was constantly badgering each of us about piece of play, all the while only allowing cart party only on a dry course.

Best course of the weekend by far! This round was Duane free and the entire group had an absolute blast. Also the club has the best food and service of the weekend.
